- 1. What →
- 2. Where →
- 3. Which
Which of these 4?
They are not variations of one license. Which you want changes what you have to study and what you may sell.
- Adjuster 16 hrs from $169.95
Adjusts property and casualty claims for an insurer or an adjusting firm. Rule 120-2-3-.06(3)(a)1 fences it in one sentence: an adjuster may not represent an insured individual. It is the first of four adjuster licenses Georgia issues and the only one with both a course and a paper.
- Crop Hail Adjuster No course No course sold
An adjuster limited to crop hail and multi-peril crop insurance, who may not represent an insured. Georgia asks for no course and no paper: a CAPP card is the whole qualification, and the Office says so in five words on its own page.
- Public Adjuster 16 hrs No course sold
The other side of the same claim: an adjuster who works for insured individuals and may not represent an insurer. It takes the same 16-hour course as the adjuster, a paper of its own, a $5,000 bond, and a contract the Commissioner has to approve before the licensee may work with a consumer at all.
- Workers' Compensation Adjuster No course No course sold
An adjuster whose license is limited to workers' compensation insurance, and who may not represent an insured individual. Georgia asks it for no course and no paper: the qualification is a designation, and the license is the only one here whose continuing education can be shortened by taking it from another agency of the same state.
