Which of these 3?
They are not variations of one license. Which you want changes what you have to study and what you may sell.
- Adjuster No course from $39.95
Investigates and settles claims for an insurer in Montana, on a license the statute calls simply an adjuster license and the examination vendor calls Multi-line. One section of the Code issues this, the crop adjuster and the public adjuster alike, and the Department and its vendor treat them as three licenses with three papers.
- Crop Adjuster No course No course sold
Adjusts crop losses in Montana on a paper of its own. It is the same statutory license as the multi-line adjuster and the shortest of the three adjuster examinations at one hour.
- Public Adjuster No course No course sold
Works a claim for the policyholder rather than for the insurer. Montana narrows it by the act rather than by the line, where Missouri confines its own to fire and allied lines: the vendor's own handbook says the holder may only investigate and report to the principal, and may adjust first-party physical damage claims only.
