Which of these 2?
They are not variations of one license. Which you want changes what you have to study and what you may sell.
- Certified Insurance Consultant (Life, Accident & Health or Sickness) No course from $169.95
Gives advice, counsel or opinion on life and health insurance for a fee rather than for a commission. Connecticut asks for no course and it does ask for a paper of its own, and the Department warns twice on its own page that a producer applicant who sits this one has bought the wrong license.
- Certified Insurance Consultant (Property & Casualty) No course No course sold
Gives advice, counsel or opinion on property and casualty insurance for a fee. The same $300 license and the same two-year term as the life consultant, on a separate paper and a separate set of designations.
