The Tennessee Viatical Settlement Broker license
Viatical Settlement Broker
Acts for the owner of a life policy in selling it. Tennessee licenses it on the same form and for the same $500 as the provider, and asks the same plan of operation and the same $250,000 of financial responsibility.

This is the same application as the provider's, with the other box ticked. It is built as a separate license because the Department's own licensee lookup lists Viatical Settlement Broker and Viatical Settlement Provider as different types and because the two do opposite jobs in the same transaction. Everything the Department asks for is identical, down to the $500 fee and the $250,000 bond or errors and omissions policy, which is worth knowing before an applicant goes looking for a difference that is not there. There is no examination and no course.

Tennessee sets no examination and no course for the viatical settlement broker. No national seller prices a product for it.
