Every way to qualify
-
Route 1 Post the bond and apply from a real business location
No state exam for this license
Financial responsibility
-
A surety bond of $2,500 on the Division's own template, required of an individual and of a business alike and not shareable between them
and a business location
-
A business location that is not a virtual office and not a mail stop
The Division's page asks for no examination and no course, and what it asks for instead is unusual enough to record: the bond cannot be shared between an individual and their firm, and the business location cannot be a virtual office or a mail stop. Nothing else on this site rules out a mailbox by name. The application fee is $185 for an individual and $235 for a business. This is the license the 2026-08-16 scope decision names specifically: a motor vehicle physical damage appraiser answers to the insurance division and a real estate appraiser does not.

No national seller sells a course for this license. Nevada asks this license for a $2,500 bond and a real business address rather than an examination, so there is nothing for a seller to prepare anybody for.
