Every way to qualify
-
Route 1 Be put forward by the pre-need seller
No state exam for this license
The application, signed by the seller
-
An application form stating the applicant's name, address and telephone number and the pre-need seller for whom the sales will be made. The seller signs the same application and agrees to be responsible for supervising the agent in conjunction with any pre-need sales, so the agent does not qualify alone.
and the fee
-
$20 with the application, which is the cheapest license on the Department's schedule after the motor club representative's $5. There is no examination and no pre-licensing course.
Neb. Rev. Stat. 12-1115, inside the Burial Pre-Need Sale Act. The license "shall allow the agent to make pre-need sales only for the pre-need seller whose name appears on the license", and when that relationship ends the seller notifies the Department, the agent's acts stop being imputed to the seller, and the license is void. Failing to surrender it within ten days of a written request is a Class IV misdemeanor, which is a criminal penalty attached to an administrative act and something only a handful of licenses on this site carry.

No national seller sells a course for this license. Aceable does not sell Nebraska at all. There is no examination and no course. The pre-need seller co-signs the application and supervises the agent, so the qualification is a relationship rather than anything the applicant can study for.
