Every way to qualify

  1. Route 1 Apply for the limited lines travel producer license

No state exam for this license

    The application

    • The uniform application with the fee. Pearson's Missouri candidate handbook lists Travel among the license lines and prints "No exam required" against it, alongside Credit and the Business Entity Producer license.

and the register of travel retailers

    • A register of every travel retailer offering travel insurance under the license, maintained on the director's form, and a program of instruction for each retailer employee whose duties include offering travel insurance. The training is one the licensee gives to somebody else's staff rather than one the applicant takes.

Section 375.159, RSMo is the Missouri limited lines travel insurance producer, and the shape is the one this site has now met in five states: the producer is licensed, the travel retailer is registered under that license, and the producer answers for what the retailer does. The Department's own producer page carries a separate resident and nonresident Travel Business Entity Producer route for the entity form. There is no examination and no pre-licensing course.

No national seller sells a course for this license. Aceable does not sell Missouri at all. There is nothing to prepare for. Pearson's handbook prints "No exam required" against Travel, no course is required, and the training in section 375.159 is one the licensee gives to a travel retailer's staff.
