Every way to qualify

  1. Route 1 Register with the director, and prove you can pay

No state exam for this license

    The registration

    • Registration with the director on the director's form before any service contract is issued, sold or offered for sale in Missouri, with a fee the director sets by rule at not more than $300 annually.

    and financial responsibility

    • One of the routes at section 385.302.4: a funded reserve account of at least forty percent of gross consideration received less claims paid on in-force Missouri contracts, together with a financial security deposit placed in trust with the director; or the alternatives the subsection sets out. The reserve account is open to the director's examination.

Sections 385.300 to 385.321, RSMo. There is no examination and no course. The provider may appoint an administrator to run the contracts and the compliance, under 385.302.2, but the registration and the money stay the provider's. It is the middle one of chapter 385's three service-contract regimes, between the motor vehicle extended service contract law of 1977 and the vehicle protection product act of 2007.

No national seller sells a course for this license. Aceable does not sell Missouri at all. There is no examination and no course: the qualification is a funded reserve and a security deposit, which nothing a course seller offers can supply.
