The Missouri Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Insurance Producer license
Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Insurance Producer
The storage operator's license for cover on a tenant's goods. It is the only Missouri license outside the bail family whose applicant has to complete training, and the training requirement is on the Department's page rather than in the section that creates the license.

Every way to qualify
-
Route 1 Apply, and complete the approved training program
No state exam for this license
The training program
-
A pre-licensing course in a qualified training program filed with and approved by the director, approved by the Department
and the application
-
Eighteen years old, no act that is a ground for denial, suspension or revocation under section 375.141, RSMo, and a license fee of $100, which is the same figure a full producer pays.
and the register of individuals
-
A register, on the director's form, of every individual who offers self-service storage insurance on the licensee's behalf, with the licensee's own contact details, an officer or person who directs its operations and the facility's federal tax identification number. It is updated annually.
The Department's Other Licensees page sets out four requirements and the fourth is "Have completed a qualified training program that has been filed with and approved by the director". Section 379.1640, RSMo does not contain it. The section defines the license, fences what unlicensed staff may say, caps the cover at $15,000 per customer per storage unit and requires the register, and it sets no training requirement of any kind. The requirement is recorded from the regulator's own statement of it, which is a primary source, and the gap between the two is written down here because a reader checking the statute will not find it. No hour count is published anywhere, so none is shown. 379.1640.5 subjects the licensee to chapters 374 and 375 except as the section provides.

A course is required and nobody sells one
No national seller sells a course for this license. Aceable does not sell Missouri at all. The qualified training program this license needs is filed with and approved by the director one applicant at a time, and no seller offers one. There is no examination.
