  2. Route 2 Move to Mississippi and apply within 90 days

    No state exam for this license

    • 90 days Licensed as a limited lines travel insurance producer in another state, with a Letter of Clearance from that state unless the national producer database can verify the status, filed within 90 days of clearing the previous resident license.

    New residents transferring a license from another state file a Letter of Clearance from the previous resident state, unless the status can be verified on the national producer database, and the application must reach the Department within 90 days of clearing the old license. A nonresident's home state status is verified through the NAIC producer database.
