Independent Adjuster Trainee

Certification by a Mississippi licensed independent adjuster "who will employ and provide direction and supervision of the registrant". The certification is of the trainee and it is also an undertaking by the adjuster.
No examination and no pre-licensing hours, which is the point of it: the twenty hours and the paper come later, when the trainee applies for the independent adjuster license itself. "This registration is not eligible for renewal and will expire no more than 12 months from issuance."The Department's fee schedule prices every individual adjuster license at $100.00 and lists the emergency and trainee ones under that heading. The instruction sheets for the emergency and trainee licenses say $50.00 and are dated 01/08. The schedule is the current document and is what is recorded on this page. Mississippi is one of the few states here that registers a trainee on both sides of the claim, this one and the public adjuster trainee.

There is no examination and no course for the registration itself; the hours belong to the license the trainee moves on to. No national seller prices a product for the registration.
