The Massachusetts Travel license
Travel
Limited line travel insurance in Massachusetts: cover for the personal risks of planned travel, from a cancelled trip to lost baggage to sickness on the road. It is the newest line here and the statute numbers it 7 and a half rather than renumbering the ones after it. No course and no examination, and it is not a line an individual applicant sits anything for.

G.L. c. 175, 162Z. The limited lines travel insurance producer license is not a line an ordinary applicant adds by examination: the statute defines who may hold it, and each of the three is somebody already standing behind an insurer's travel book. The people who actually sell the policies are travel retailers, and they hold no license at all. They work under this one, on a register the licensee keeps and updates every year, after a program of instruction covering the types of insurance offered, ethical sales practices and the disclosures owed to a customer. So there is nothing here for a national exam prep seller to prepare anybody for, which is why this page carries no course list.

No national seller sells a course for this license, and nothing could. The travel line is not a line an individual adds by examination: G.L. c. 175, section 162Z gives it to the supervising entity an insurer designates, and Pearson gives no travel paper.
