The Georgia Self Storage Provider license
Self Storage Provider
A limited license for the storage operator that sells cover on the tenant's goods. Georgia's version is lighter than its two siblings on approval and heavier on disclosure: the instructor is approved by resume rather than by course outline, and every certificate has to warn the customer about duplicate cover in 14-point capitals.

The applicant certifies that all employees have received basic training as to the types of insurance products specified in O.C.G.A. 33-23-12(e). To become an approved instructor, the instructor's resume is submitted to the Department with the application for licensure; unlike the portable electronics and rental company licenses, no course outline is asked for. In lieu of creating a specific course taught by an approved instructor, the applicant may require employees to complete the property and casualty prelicensing course from an approved entity.
Rule 120-2-3-.47(3) is the examination and 120-2-3-.09(1)(f) names the rule from the other side. One license covers the principal location or home office, with no insurer's sponsorship and no certificate of authority, on a biennial term expiring 31 December. Rule 120-2-3-.47(9) is the part nothing else in the chapter has: every certificate of insurance or policy "must prominently display the possibility of duplicative coverage as outlined in 33-23-12(e)(4)(B)", and the display "must be in all capital letters and 14 point font". A rule that sets a font size is a rule that has met the thing it is trying to stop.

No national seller sells a course for this license. The training belongs to the operator's counter staff rather than to the applicant, and the substitute Georgia names is the ordinary property and casualty prelicensing course.
