Sells travel insurance with a ticket. Rule 120-2-3-.32 names it three ways in its own heading, Limited Travel Agent, Travel Accident and Sickness, and Travel Ticket, and then says no to prelicensing education, to the examination and to continuing education in three consecutive subsections.

    The trade

    • Engaged in the business of selling tickets for travel on public carriers. That is who rule 120-2-3-.32(1) issues the license to, and it is the only Georgia license whose eligibility is a description of another trade.

    and the insurer behind it

    • The sponsor agrees to appoint the applicant as its representative and affirms that an unaffiliated agency has investigated the applicant's general character, including a criminal background check. Since 2010-01-01 the sponsorship is replaced by a certificate of authority obtained from each insurer after the license issues.

    Rule 120-2-3-.32(4), (5) and (6) are one line each: "No prelicensing education is required", "No examination shall be required for this license", "No continuing education shall be required for this license."The Office's candidate handbook splits the license into two rows with two category codes, TT for Travel Ticket and TA for Travel Accident & Sickness, and gives neither an exam code. Both are the same rule and the same $120.
