The Georgia Life Settlement Broker license
Life Settlement Broker
Arranges the sale of a life policy for its owner. Georgia does not license it: it registers a life agent who has already held that license for a year, at $55 on a form filed through the same portal as everything else.

Rule 120-2-93-.04(4): "Before becoming registered as a life settlement broker in this state, the person or entity seeking registration must have a current and valid life license in this state or his or her home state for at least one year. Additionally, non-resident producers shall have a valid non-resident producer license in this state."The Office's candidate handbook prices it under Other Licensing Transactions rather than in its license table, at a $50 registration request and a $5 processing fee, and notes that registrations requiring periodic renewal renew on their anniversary date. Three states now attach the arranging half of a settlement to a producer license somebody already holds and only the buying half to a license of its own: Maryland gives the broker thirty days after the first contract to register, Oklahoma thirty days from first acting, and Georgia asks for the year first and the registration before anything.

No national seller sells a course for this registration. The qualification is a life license held for a year, and what prepares somebody for that is on the Life page.
