90 days Became a Florida resident, held a valid resident license with the equivalent line of authority for at least one continuous year beforehand, and applied within 90 days of becoming a resident.

Route 5 Come from a reciprocal state more than 90 days after moving here
State exam required

1 year Held a valid resident license with the equivalent line of authority in a reciprocal state within the four years before applying. Waives the course, not the exam.
Exempt from the pre-licensing course, but the Florida examination is still required.
