A vendor in the business of portable electronics transactions in Delaware, naming the officer or employee responsible for compliance and the location of its home office
18 Del. C. 2052(a) requires a vendor to hold a limited lines license to sell or offer portable electronics insurance, and 2052(b) is what makes this license unlike the rest: it authorizes any employee or authorized representative of the vendor to sell at every location the vendor engages in portable electronics transactions from, so nobody behind the counter is separately licensed. 2057 is the whole application and it asks for the name and address of the officer or employee responsible for compliance, the location of the home office, and, where more than half the vendor's revenue comes from selling this insurance, the same for every officer, director and 10 percent shareholder. No examination and no course. The license runs 24 months and expires on 28 February of its renewal year, which no other Delaware license here does. A supervising entity, itself a licensed insurer or producer, keeps the registry of authorized locations.
