    • Having authority to bind reinsurance risks, or managing all or part of a reinsurer's assumed reinsurance business including a separate division, department or underwriting office, and acting as agent for that reinsurer

The Bureau's own lines of authority page says "No exam required" against this license and asks for no course either. Virginia's only pre-licensing course is the Title qualification's sixteen hours. The application processing fee is $500. Texas asks its reinsurance manager for more than three years of insurance or reinsurance experience and Virginia asks for none, which is two states defining the same job and testing nothing alike.

The Virginia Bureau of Insurance requires no pre-licensing course for this license, so there is nothing here to price.
