    • Operating in Texas as a title insurance agency or as a direct operation, with the documents TDI's title license application list requires attached to the Sircon application

    TDI says it in two sentences on the same page: you do not need to take an exam for a title insurance license, and you do not need a fingerprint background check for one either. No other Texas license page says both. The license is a business license rather than an individual one, which is why the escrow officer license exists beside it for the people who do the work.
