Every way to qualify

  1. Route 1 Be sponsored and trained by a licensed adjuster

No state exam for this license

    • Another licensed adjuster sponsors the applicant and trains them, and the trainee works under that adjuster's supervision

Tex. Ins. Code 4101.003 registers the trainee with the commissioner rather than licensing them, caps the arrangement at twelve months and requires supervision throughout. TDI's page says the same in one sentence and lists no examination. It is the same shape as Kentucky's apprentice adjuster: the qualification is somebody else's license rather than anything the applicant holds.
