The Ohio Self-Service Storage license
Self-Service Storage
The limited line a storage facility holds so it can insure what occupants keep in its units. Like the portable electronics line it belongs to the business rather than to the person selling, and the counter staff sell under it as endorsees.

At least one Ohio-licensed individual insurance agent within the business entity's corporate structure, responsible for the entity's compliance with Ohio insurance law.
Ohio Revised Code 3905.063 requires the license and 3905.06(B)(11) makes it a line of authority. The owner is defined at 3905.063(A)(5) as the owner, operator, property management company, lessor or sublessor of the facility and expressly not the occupant, and the endorsee at (A)(2) is the employee or authorized representative who actually sells. As with portable electronics a location includes a web site or a call center site directed at Ohio residents. The Department lists this line under business entities only: it is not on its individual limited lines page, and O.A.C. 3901-5-09(F)(2)(g) names it among the eight lines a limited lines license can be issued for.

Ohio requires no course and no examination for any limited line, and says so in its own rule. No national seller prices a product for this one.
