A criminal records check requested under Ohio Revised Code 3905.051, which every resident individual applicant for a limited lines license must ask for.
O.A.C. 3901-5-09(F)(2)(b) grants the line "in accordance with rule 3901-5-10 of the Administrative Code", which is a chapter of its own for one limited line. Ohio Revised Code 3905.06(B) does not name rental car among its twelve lines of authority, so like crop and funeral expense this one lives under division (B)(13), the superintendent's catch-all. O.A.C. 3901-5-09(F)(3) is the sentence that covers every Ohio limited line: "No pre-licensing education, licensing examination or continuing education is required for a limited lines license."The Department says it too, on its own limited lines page. A company appointment is not needed to apply and is needed before anything is sold.
