Ohio Revised Code 3905.062(B)(1) forbids a vendor or a vendor's employee to sell portable electronics insurance unless the vendor holds this line, and (C)(1) issues it as a resident BUSINESS ENTITY license. The individual behind the counter is an endorsee under (F)(1) and holds nothing: the vendor authorizes them. The Department's own summary of its individual limited lines names portable electronics and the page underneath it does not, which is the card being loose rather than the page being wrong; the statute settles it. How much of the vendor's business is insurance changes what the application asks for rather than whether it is granted: under (C)(1)(c) a vendor earning less than half its revenue from these policies names one responsible officer or employee, and under (C)(1)(d) one earning half or more names every owner with a tenth of the equity, every partner, officer and director. A "location" is defined at (A)(4) to include any web site, call center site or similar location directed at Ohio residents, which is why the fee band is not a count of shops.

Ohio requires no course and no examination for any limited line, and says so in its own rule. No national seller prices a product for this one.
