Selling credit insurance for a lender to satisfy loans it is making, with a company appointment required before the license may be used
No pre-licensing course. S.L. 2025-45, s. 1(a) rewrote G.S. 58-33-30(d) with effect from 2025-10-01 so that the Commissioner may not require any hours of pre-licensing education of anybody. The requirements chart answers "No" in the examination column and "Not required" in the fingerprints column, which no other North Carolina license does, and the only other thing it asks is that the applicant be at least eighteen. The crosswalk chart lists what the license covers: credit life, credit health, credit VSI, GAP coverage and credit unemployment, all of it "coverage sold by lenders to satisfy loans they are making".

No national seller sells a course for this license. There is no examination and no fingerprint check, so there is nothing for a seller to prepare anybody for.
