Insurance Law 6802(h) requires the examination and sets no course anywhere in the article; the Department's pre-licensing education page, which lists twelve lines and their hour counts, does not name this license. The paper is not the same everywhere: 6802(h) lets the superintendent examine an applicant who will work in a city of more than 175,000 people on the criminal procedure law and on the rules and practices of the courts and district attorneys' offices where they will operate. 6802(g) asks for written evidence of character and reputation from people who know the applicant, and for fingerprints; a firm or corporation supplies that proof for every member, shareholder, officer and director.

New York sets no course for a bail bond agent. No national seller prices a bail product.
