Insurance Premium Financing

NMSA 59A-45-3: nobody may engage in the business of financing insurance premiums in New Mexico without first obtaining an insurance premium financing license from the superintendent. Subsection C leaves the procedure and the requirements to the superintendent's rules rather than setting them in statute, so the bond in 59A-45-4 is the only substantive condition the Act itself names. Renewal is annual on 1 May under subsection B, not on an anniversary, and the fee schedule prices both the original and the renewal at $100.

New Mexico sets no examination and no course for the premium financing license. No national seller prices a product for it.
