How to qualify
Minnesota asks neither a prelicensing course nor an examination for this license, and that was read at revisor.mn.gov rather than left blank here: there is no route to show because there is nothing to qualify.
No national seller sells a course for this license, and nothing could. Minn. Stat. 60K.36, subd. 2 names four limited lines and takes the paper away from all of them at once: "A resident individual applying for a limited lines credit insurance, title insurance, travel insurance, or bail bonds license is not required to take a written examination."The course goes with it. Subdivision 4 sizes the program of studies at "20 hours per major line of authority", and a limited line is not a major line, so nothing in the section reaches these four. Minnesota is unusual in saying it in one sentence for four lines rather than license by license. Idaho issues its title agent a separate license per county and Washington asks for a tract index of every county worked; Minnesota asks for neither, because the line rides on a producer license the state has already issued.
