No state exam for this license

    • An internet website carrying the information Conn. Gen. Stat. 38a-479rr(s) prescribes, established before the application is filed rather than after the license issues, under 38a-479rr(d)

Conn. Gen. Stat. 38a-479rr(a) is the granting sentence and it asks for a corporation, limited liability company, limited liability partnership or other legal entity organized here or authorized to transact business here, and then for a sworn application carrying the charter and bylaws, the names, addresses and biographical statements of everybody conducting the applicant's affairs including anybody holding ten per cent of its voting securities, the forms of every provider contract, marketing contract and administration contract, audited financial statements and a list of authorized marketers. There is no course and no examination and the Department answers both with "Not applicable". The license expires one year after the date it is issued rather than on a fixed calendar date, which is unusual on this state's schedule, and the marketer list is filed again with every renewal fee and updated electronically before any new marketer starts work. A provider who discounts to its own patients needs no license at all.

Connecticut asks a medical discount plan organization for corporate documents, contracts, audited accounts and a live website rather than for anything taught, and gives no examination for it, so there is nothing for a school to sell. No national seller offers a Connecticut product for it.
