No national seller sells a course for this license, and nothing could satisfy a course requirement here in any event: Minn. Stat. 60K.36, subd. 4a(1) puts the variable life and variable annuity line of authority outside the prelicensing program of studies by name. The examination still applies, and the four sellers who do cover Minnesota prepare candidates for the life, health, property, casualty and personal lines papers and for no variable one.
