The Department publishes a "Checklist of Necessary Information for Reinsurance Intermediary Broker" and a separate one for the manager, which is the clearest sign it treats them as two licenses rather than one. Rule 57 Section 16 prices them apart: $300 to file the initial broker application and $75 a year to renew it, against $500 and $100 for the manager. A non-resident of either kind pays a further $75 to designate the Commissioner as agent for service of process. There is no course and no examination.

Arkansas requires no course and gives no examination for this license, so there is nothing to prepare for. No national seller offers an Arkansas reinsurance intermediary product.
