  1. Route 1 Apply for a certificate of authorization

No state exam for this license

    • A designation of process agent, a certificate of good standing and a biographical affidavit for the entity, all on the Department's forms; a third party verification is required only of a domestic applicant

Rule 57 Section 12 prices it: $250 to review the documents and issue the certificate of authorization, $100 to file the annual financial statement and $50 per form filing. The club renews on 1 June each year, a date Act 469 of 2025 moved, and the Department sends renewal information thirty days ahead. There is no course and no examination for the club itself. The chapter is Ark. Code Ann. 23-77-101 et seq., which is not the producer licensing chapter, and it carries its own agent license at 23-77-103(a): an automobile club may not sell in Arkansas through anybody who does not hold one.

Read at the Department on 2026-08-20

Arkansas asks an automobile club for corporate documents and a process agent rather than for anything taught, and gives no examination for it. No national seller offers an Arkansas product for it.
